A session fee is required to book and secure the services of Alma Photo Studio. Until this fee is paid, the session is not confirmed.
The booking fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy below for further details.
The session fee is due at the time of booking. The session will not be confirmed until payment has been received.
Payment may be made by card via the website, via a payment link provided by Alma Photo Studio, or by bank transfer.
Any additional digital image packages or printed products must be paid for in full before delivery.
Due to the nature of studio scheduling, sessions run on a strict timeline to ensure all clients are accommodated fairly.
Sessions will begin at the scheduled start time, even if the client arrives late. The session end time will remain unchanged.
The client is responsible for their own timekeeping and for allowing sufficient time to arrive prepared.
Additional fees apply for digital image packages, prints, albums, and other products. Please refer to individual session pricing guides for full details.
Alma Photo Studio is not responsible for the behaviour, cooperation, or safety of any person attending the session.
For family and newborn sessions, the client is fully responsible for supervising all children at all times. If a child’s cooperation impacts the outcome of the session, the studio cannot be held liable for images not captured as expected.
Special requests are welcomed but are not binding instructions. Every effort will be made to accommodate preferences; however, cooperation from all participants is essential.
Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 28–36 weeks of pregnancy, unless otherwise agreed.
If a maternity session needs to be rescheduled due to pregnancy-related discomfort or medical reasons, one reschedule will be offered at no additional cost, subject to availability.
Retouching will be natural and in line with the studio’s editing style.
The safety and wellbeing of the baby is always the top priority.
Newborn sessions are typically scheduled within the first 5–14 days after birth; however, timing may vary depending on the baby’s health and comfort.
Alma Photo Studio will never force a baby into a pose. If a baby is unsettled, certain poses or images may not be possible.
Parents must inform the studio prior to the session of:
Parents or guardians must remain present at all times during newborn sessions.
Alma Photo Studio retains full artistic control over styling, posing, lighting, composition, number of images taken, and final editing.
All images delivered are fully edited in the studio’s signature style.
Additional editing requests are at the discretion of Alma Photo Studio and may incur an additional fee.
All images produced by Alma Photo Studio are protected under Copyright Law.
Digital images purchased remain the property of Alma Photo Studio; however, clients receive a personal-use license, allowing printing and sharing with friends and family for non-commercial purposes only.
Commercial use is strictly prohibited unless written permission is obtained and additional fees are paid.
Clients may share images on social media provided Alma Photo Studio is credited.
Images must not be altered, filtered, cropped, or manipulated without written consent. Please refrain from using filters.
The client grants Alma Photo Studio permission to use images from the session for portfolio display, sample albums, website, social media, blog, and other marketing purposes.
If the client wishes for images to remain private, this must be communicated before or during the session.
One complimentary reschedule is offered in cases of:
Reshoots required due to client appearance, styling choices, or lack of cooperation will require an additional session fee.
If Alma Photo Studio must cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a reschedule will be offered or a full refund issued.
If the client cancels, all payments made are forfeited.
In the unlikely event that images are lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons beyond studio control, liability is limited to a refund of all payments received. No further compensation will be provided.
No minimum number of images is guaranteed. The final number depends on session flow and cooperation.
Images not meeting Alma Photo Studio’s quality standards are deleted during editing and are non-recoverable.
Clients must review images carefully and request additional edits before placing an order.
Editing turnaround is approximately 10 working days, depending on season.
Printed products take approximately 3–6 weeks once ordered. Full payment is required prior to production.
Images are presumed to be received in good condition unless the client notifies Alma Photo Studio in writing within 3 days of receipt.
As all photographic products are bespoke, no cooling-off period applies.
Unpurchased images are archived for up to 12 months, at the discretion of Alma Photo Studio.
